We have some exciting news that we're anxious to share with the extended May family.

Last Friday, the May team was acquired by PixelFish, a local tech startup. The opportunity for our entire team to move in-house starting October 1, 2011 is a huge blessing for us individually, and as a company. We are excited to compliment their team and to work in an agile startup culture with some really smart and tech savvy people.

It was a difficult decision − because it means saying goodbye to our clients. We truly appreciate the loyalty and support we've received from all of you over the years.

We have just about a month to wrap all our current client work and tie up any loose ends. Feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns you may have about the transition. We want to make it as smooth as possible for everyone.

Hukilau

Hukilau Logo

Hukilau is a new platform to create, fund, and distribute independent media. In the converging media landscape, Hukilau helps digital media find its audience. Creators can propose independent projects, and get them funded, produced and distributed.

The guys at Hukilau gave May a lot of freedom to develop Hukilau's visual identity from the ground up. We had a lot of fun exploring and designing the Hukilau logo and then used that to flesh out the color palette, website design, and blog design. Hukilau is currently negotiating angel investment and is excited to expand its brand and web presence in 2011.
